Five interpretations of love and its near
future, in very short episodes. (1) Cupids are illegal, and whoever is
caught with one can be incriminated. (2) Two people meet and desire each
other in an art gallery. (3) A couple goes into crisis on the day the AIDS
vaccine is discovered. (4) The last flight is departing, as in Casablanca.
But this time there is only one ticket. (5) A man and a woman separated
by an aerial, a desire and a crime that is to be committed.

"LOVE IN THE NINETIES is the 5 in 1 shorts (5 very short shorts making
up one longer short). Expectations are running high about the short film
to be shown today (at the Brasília Film Festival). After all, it
is a production of the Casa de Cinema, which took Gramado by storm with
ISLAND OF FLOWERS. It is a film made by the students of an extension course
promoted by the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and ministered
by Casa de Cinema."
