of those that seems like it will never end, a supermarket customer has
a brief affair with a cashier.

"With humor and creativity, Gerbase and Assis Brasil narrate the eternal
- but very brief - passions of a kid with an irresistible tendency to fall
in love at first sight. Using exclusively the images and the voice-over
of a narrator, the filmmakers succeed in communicating to the spectator
a huge amount of information about the behavior, values and daily life
of a certain segment of the city’s population. INTERLUDE is a clever exercise
in filmmaking and a healthy lesson on the power of synthesis."
