TOLERANCE and THE SANDWICH awarded in Portugal
(18/Apr/2001)The Casa de Cinema team has just received an award at the 5th Portuguese-Brazilian Film Festival of Santa Maria da Feira, in Portugal. TOLERANCE, by Carlos Gerbase, has won the Newcomers' Prize for Feature Films, a prize for beginning filmmakers or those with only one previous feature film. The short film THE SANDWICH, by Jorge Furtado, was awarded the Best Short Film Prize both by the Festival's official jury and the film clubs' jury.
