Jorge Furtado finishes filming his feature
(26/Apr/2001)Four days earlier than planned, the shoot of HOUVE UMA DOIS VERÕES / TWO SUMMERS, Jorge Furtado´s first feature, has ended today. The film won a prize for low budget film projects, awarded by the Brazilian Ministry of Culture. According to the original schedule, filming would take place from April 2nd to April 30th, but the lightness of the DVCAM equipment and the harmonious relationship established among the crew and the young cast topped all expectations. The editing of the film will begin in the beginning of May and it should be released in the second semester of 2001, when the director plans to be shooting his second feature, O HOMEM QUE COPIAVA / THE MAN WHO COPIED.
