Casa de Cinema wins double awards from APCA

Do you know what there is in common between the best film in Brazil and the best television program in Brazil in 2003?

APCA (Association of Art Critics of São Paulo) Award 2003:
Best Film: The Man Who Copied
Best Television Program: Cena Aberta

São Paulo, December 16th 2003 – Around 70 journalists, members of the Association of Art Critics of São Paulo (APCA), representing the main publications of São Paulo, gathered together on Monday at the headquarters of the Journalists’ Union to elect the best of the year in the following categories: visual arts, film, dance, literature, children’s literature, Brazilian Popular Music, classical music, radio, theatre and television. The awards - a sculpture-trophy was created especially for APCA by the artist Francisco Brennand - will be given at an official ceremony on March 29th, at the Teatro Municipal.
