In Paris, THE MAN WHO COPIED wins over 20 awards
(5/May/2004)At the closing of the 6th Brazilian Film Festival of Paris, from April 28th to May 4th, the film THE MAN WHO COPIED, by Casa de Cinema de Porto Alegre, directed by Jorge Furtado, won two more awards, reaching a total of 21 awards since it was first shown in festivals and national and international competitions.
In Paris, THE MAN WHO COPIED was chosen Best Film by the popular jury, and it also received the Special Jury Special Prize. The official jury was formed by Karim Dridi (filmmaker, cinematographer and screenwriter), Fabien Onteniente (filmmaker and screenwriter), Patrick Mille (actor), and Roxane Mesquida (actress).
